ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Analyst Trade Service Model (ATSM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Trade Service Model, outlet value updates, supporting the Trade Strategy team, and working directly with internal and external collaborators to resolve complex issues. Tasks include managing the set up, reporting, and monthly adjustment cadence for the Trade Service Model, resolving customer and Field Trade Marketing inquiries and providing key data to key team members. The ATSM is also responsible for maintaining alignment across multiple functions/departments to optimize program execution, evolution and provide analysis/insights to key decision makers.
The primary focus of this role is to optimize execution and maintenance of the service model data integrity. This position requiresextensive data mining capabilities, creative thinking/problem solving and the ability to provide meaningful business insights. Familiarity with major software platforms like Salesforce, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel is required to be successful in this role.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
Trade Service Model is national in scope and impacts the Field Trade Marking Team and customers that sell Tobacco Category products. The ATSM will provide data to help solve problems and support the evolution of Trade Service Model that aligns with RMSC business objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Critical accountabilities are to lead and complete support functions for all active and future Retail Customers:
Current Trade Coverage Plan Processes:
Assign Field Trade Marketing (FTM) effort to Outlets Deploy bi-weekly outlet refreshes Quarterly RCM evaluations refresh with IDT
Support FTM to balance effort
Specific responsibilities include:
Assign Field Trade Marketing (FTM) effort to Outlets
Implement bi-weekly outlet refreshes to maintain data integrity
Complete Quarterly Retail Classification Model (RCM) refreshes
Provide data analysis and insights related to trade capacity to multiple partners
Ongoing support for Field Trade Marketing
Engage with various internal departments
Future programming is also a key function of this role
Conceptualize solutions to current challenges and share cross-functionally to build alignment
Work with HR partners to craft data models for new program constructs and tactics
Build, maintain and demonstrate cross-functional relationships to tackle problems and drive forward progress in all areas
Develop systems-related field and customer communications/support tools as needed
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- 1 – 3 years of experience in admin management or data system management.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Possesses a high-level attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communications
Proficiency in Data Tools (Micro Strategy), MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce and interest in learning new systems
Ability to multi-task projects and activities while adjusting to a changing environment
Engage with multiple departments to meet objectives
Problem solving for mutually beneficial results
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
