WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II - ELECTRONICAL

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Maintains and repairs all electrical and electronic devices and/or coordinates the maintenance and repair, thereof.

  • Facilitates the acquisition of quotations from outside vendors for electrical maintenance work.

  • Performs value analysis of quotes and service provided by outside vendors. Oversees work conducted by approved vendors.

  • Interacts and provides guidance to contractors that perform work on site.

  • Designs and assembles electrical control cabinets.

  • Programs, troubleshoots, and repairs PLC’s, industrial control systems and electrical systems on production equipment and facilities to maximize production efficiency.

  • Be aware of the Company environmental, health & safety policies and comply with the objectives as it relates to the role.

  • Follow Company Safety Rules

  • Know the potential health & safety risks and environmental impacts of work activities and understand role in mitigating these impacts.

  • Understand responsibilities for compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.

  • Complete EHS-required training and follow operational procedures.

  • Immediately report all injuries and illnesses

  • Participate in EHS programs as required by assigned site/role (e.g., PULSAR safety observation program, Safety Triggers)

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Education:

  • High School degree required; associate degree in industrial Electronics orcertificate in related field or military equivalent preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years’ experience programming and maintaining electronic and electrical

systems in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Siemens-S7, WinCC, Allen Bradley and Beckoff systems

  • Good troubleshooting abilities

  • Extensive computer skills (MS office, Microsoft Windows NT-XP)

  • Attention to detail.

Work Keys: Applied Math – Level 5, Workplace Documents – Level 6, Graphic Literacy – Level 4, Workplace Observation: Level 3, Applied Technology: Level 5

BENEFICIAL

  • Prefer 3 years of industrial experience in maintaining electronic and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with tobacco packaging and processing equipment.

  • Knowledge of and experience with SAP

  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System

Wage Information

  • Bonus Target: 7% percent
