This position reports to Vice President HR Commercial and will be responsible for partnering with Senior Leaders across the Consumer Marketing and Strategy, Planning and Insights (SPI) functions. This role will be instrumental in shaping our culture, supporting our business strategies and developing the talent pipeline necessary to deliver on our objectives. You will leverage best-in-class HR practices to lead, develop, deliver and support programs that continue to make Reynolds a “Great Place to Work” three years in a row.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Primary strategic partner to the Consumer Marketing and SPI, developing HR Strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions

  • Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people related strategy and execution

  • Ensuring the effective delivery of all HR programs and services. Responsible for HR results in the business including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial result

  • Partner with the functional leadership team to assess the state of the workforce and ensure the business attracts, develops and retains high quality talent at all levels in a continuous pipeline to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the business.

  • Play an active leadership role in the commitment to continuous improvement and be perceived as credible and capable of leading organization effectiveness across the business.Serve as a steward of the talent management processes at a functional level to ensure feedback, documentation, and follow-up progress occurs.

  • Build working relationships with the Center of Excellence (COE) functions to ensure client’s needs are understood and met.

  • Work with clients to implement and manage human resources processes, including:

  • Talent management, development, recruitment and succession planning

  • Employee engagement strategies and plans

  • Base salary determination and review (e.g. dual career ladders, job evaluation), annual bonus and long-term incentives (stock option and restricted stock)

  • Strategic workforce planning

  • Employee relations

Qualifications

  • Possesses a minimum of five to ten years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or “generalist” roles. Previous rotation in a specialist role is a plus.

  • Prior experience working for a global consumer products company at a subsidiary level would be beneficial.

  • Self-motivated, self-confident individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and transformation.

  • Credible and savvy business person who will be perceived as a trusted consultant and functional expert to management.

  • Knowledgeable in leading edge business practices, trends and information; aware of reward and benefits strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace.

  • Able to build credibility among senior management and peers to gain commitment and support for major initiatives while placing company’s interests first.

  • An individual of unquestioned personal and business integrity who will be viewed as trustworthy – both within the company and externally.

  • Mission-driven individual with high energy and strong levels of perseverance; works toward both individual and team goals.

  • Capable of rolling up one’s sleeves to do whatever it takes to drive results; not hindered by protocol or process.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Comfortable delivering presentations.

  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Decisive, demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting demands.

  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field.
