This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join the Information Technology team. You will be accountable for aligning business goals with digital capabilities. The role will be working with vendors, IT personnel, and Consumer Marketing supporting marketing initiatives associated to the branded websites and mobile applications. This is a fast passed and innovative environment that requires someone who is highly motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and has attention to detail skillsets.

The Information Analyst II role is a highly visible position that is an integral part of the Information Technology team with tremendous career growth opportunities. This position will guide change management, technology leadership, and support to cross functional client areas.


(* Essential Functions)

  • Identification of needs and development of plans to implement improved and new technologies and processes within the team, sub-functions and third party vendors

  • Builds relationships through demonstrated expertise and business acumen with external parties outside of function and/or company

  • Identify methods to leverage technology in supporting systems and applications they support

  • Knowledge of management activities for secure website development

  • Maintains awareness of emerging technology and communicates value/impact for supported functions

  • Consistently recognizes errors and proactively applies root cause analysis

  • Provide technical support to users regarding the systems and applications they use

  • Works with others within and without IT to solve problems in a collaborative fashion

  • Builds expertise in Project Management discipline by leading and delivering small scale projects (on time, within scope and within budget)

  • Takes ownership of small scale project implementation budgets by capturing appropriate cost to reach end-state goals of project plan

  • Implementation and management of quality IT services to meet the needs of the business


  • Knowledge of digital platform support requirements and methodologies

  • Knowledge of consumer facing technologies and industry trends

  • Knowledge of management activities for website development

  • Knowledge of multiple mobile application platforms (Android and iOS)

  • Awareness of Cloud Services

  • Awareness of basic networking functionality

  • Awareness of system infrastructure

  • Broad understanding on database management or analytic background

  • Understanding of data analysis and reporting



  • 4-year undergraduate degree with a focus in computer science, information technology, business administration or related field

  • Information Technology work or internship experience preferred


  • Strong strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills.

  • Knowledge/Experience with project management techniques and systems.

  • Must be a strategic thinker with strong influencing and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Must possess a high sense of urgency and work ethic.

  • Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, with the expectation of working as a motivated and cooperative team player.

  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo.

  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Internet Explorer
