This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.

Job Summary:

We are looking for aLead Finance Managerwho will bring innovation, creativity, and a good attitude to our team. This position is a highly visible, integral part of the RAISC Finance team that offers tremendous growth opportunity. In this role, you will provide financial analysis support to cross-functional areas and the finance management team.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support monthly reporting and analysis, monthly and quarterly forecasts and the annual planning process

  • Utilize SAP reporting tools for analysis and reporting

  • Responsible for various monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses including actual to budget and year over year performance

  • Responsible for preparing internal financial statements

  • Perform ad-hoc financial modelling (such as business cases) and analysis

  • Responsible for controls testing to comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

  • Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department improvement

  • Partner with other corporate functions, such as Marketing and Operations Finance

  • Assist with special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area

  1. 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area

  • Strong knowledge of finance / analytics

  • High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel

  • Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing and leadership skills

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, ask relevant questions

  • Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary
