Lead Manager IT – eCommerce Developer

We’re seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our IT team as theLead Manager eCommerce developer. This role will be focused on providing code development that increases speed to market and reduces total cost of ownership and improves ecosystem stability and health.

The Lead Manager Developer will join a team contributing to the development of RAI’s eCommerce websites hosted on Magento. In this critical role, you will be responsible for code development for our business and manage IT partners that support the eCommerce ecosystem and integration. Exceptional communication and influencing skills are essential attributes necessary for this role to facilitate, communicate, and deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Manager E - Commerce Developer is accountable for ensuring our E - Commerce platforms are well controlled, operating effectively. In addition to daily business support tasks, this role is responsible for assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements to these systems and other core systems.

• Writes clean, readable, adaptable and quality code. Reviews vendor code to ensure delivery of high-quality functionality and leads an environment of learning and code excellence.

• Focuses on continuous integration and/or continuous delivery strategies providing optimal feedback loops for the team

• Executes and maintains test automation and practices test driven development

Qualifications:

Specific Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:

Requires advanced knowledge of eCommerce ecosystems typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Will have practical knowledge of agile project management. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience.

Required Professional Experience:

• Magento 2x (2 year)

• PHP (2 years)

• JavaScript (3 years)

• HTML5/CSS (2 years)

• Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks

• Experience with RESTful principles and Service Oriented Architecture

• Experience with HTML and CSS basics

• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Desire to be a self-starter by taking the initiative to lead and influence others to accomplish goals

• Comfortable with a team-based work; thrives in a flexible atmosphere and can easily adapt to changing priorities.

• Eager to stay up to date with technology and enjoys continuous learning.
