ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The Lead Manager role is a highly visible, integral part of the Digital Business Solutions (DBS) team with significant career growth opportunities. This position provides technology leadership in identifying, deploying, maintaining, and project managing DBS services that contribute to Reynolds American’s success.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Enabling the Human Resources Function to leverage technology for the fast and efficient execution of HR processes, with a focus in the areas of Payroll and Employee Lifecycle processes, integrations between global and local systems, and external HR services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Demonstrate business acumen and a broad understanding of business processes

  • Engage with stakeholders and form partnerships within supported business areas and global teams

  • Direct and manage support partners and suppliers, managing vendor performance

  • Analyze and translate business needs into formal requirements, and follow local and global processes to initiate changes and projects

  • Participate in impact assessments of changes to global systems to ensure value add for local processes and mitigating of impact

  • Lead support teams for delivery of prioritized assignments and projects, and participate in large, cross functional projects

  • Coordinate the resolution of issues across teams, applying the appropriate level of urgency

  • Assist in mentoring and developing less experienced team members

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you have experience in managing IT projects across functions, service providers and IT teams?

  • Do you easily form partnerships across functions, levels, and global regions within a large organization?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum of four (4) years of IT or related experience

  • Experience in SAP ERP Solutions (SAP Payroll)

  • Demonstrated Project Management expertise delivering business benefits on time, within scope and budget

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills

  • Awareness of established and emerging technologies, including integration platforms

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with business functions, vendors, and co-workers

  • 4-year degree with a focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

  • Project Management, ITIL and Agile formal training

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience in, or knowledge of the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

  • Experience in, or knowledge of the Dell Boomi and SAP Integration Suite platforms

  • Experience in, or knowledge of coordinating Azure Single Sign-on connectivity with external service providers
