This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.
This Lead Manager, Recruiting/Sourcing is accountable for driving creative approaches to sourcing and delivering high caliber talent for Reynolds American. The Lead Manager, Recruiting/Sourcing is responsible for supporting our Talent Acquisition strategy through resourceful and effective sourcing techniques.
This position will develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies that optimize our talent pipeline and support our aggressive hiring goals. This role ensures that the organization’s hiring needs are met at all levels in the companies. Successful candidate will be able to leverage a strong network of external resources to ensure the company’s employer brand is compelling and attractive to candidates.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, etc.
Generate and manage referrals from current employees and external networks
Promote our established employer brand online
Maintain candidate databases and talent pipelines (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
Engage talent via phone, electronic communication, Skype to assess skills, share opportunity and foster relationships.
Focus on Sourcing but may manage full-lifecycle recruiting process, as needed.
BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field
At least 5 years of Recruiting experience, preferably in both staffing agency and corporate environment.
Experience managing full lifecycle recruitment.
Hands-on proven experience with innovative sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
Demonstrated strengths in influencing, negotiating, oral and written communications, problem solving, and credibility.
Ability to positively present our company and opportunities to potential candidates
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and collaborative environment.
