ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Procurement
The role is responsible for managing several vendor relationships that handle our tactical procurement, marketing intelligence, and risk management activities. In addition, this role is responsible for the management of all compliance activity for procurement (FDA, SOX, SoDA, Procurement Policy and Procedures).

Geographic Scope: DRBU
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Responsible for compliance and supplier performance and risk matrix activities related to Procurement processes.
Ensure that appropriate strategies are applied to mitigate risk. (Ex. Supplier Segmentation, FDA Relevant Risk Assessments, supplier onboarding, etc.)
Responsible for all Procurement data and systems including sourcing system, contract management system, spend analytics applications, supplier information system, SharePoint, and Procurement’s utilization of SAP applications.
Provides leadership and direction to Procurement personnel related to compliance activities.
Supports Supply Chain and Operations, as applicable, in performance and risk mitigation activities.
Key contact point / Liaison with S&RA, Internal Audit and Finance as it relates to procurement compliance activity, including audits and policy and procedure.
Conducts business process analysis and documentation, internal and external benchmarking efforts, the development and implementation of decision support processes and systems, and the evaluation of tools and applications to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Procurement organization.
Develops and implements metrics designed to measure organizational and supply base performance, as well as the development of effective tracking and reporting against these metrics.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Minimum 12 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
Demonstrated ability to work as a value-added team member
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to set strategy and direction
Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and foster collaboration across teams
Ability to make sound and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent managerial skills with the ability to resolve conflict, provide coaching, direction, feedback, and develop a vision
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Business, or related field and 9+years relevant work experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with software system implementations
Training experience both in developing learning materials and in facilitating face to face training
