In this role, you will lead the social media monitoring and management of multiple channels within the brand portfolio to ensure strong relationships are maintained with adult vapor consumers. You will work alongside a fully integrated team of passionate marketing professionals who are helping to shape the future of America’s vapor industry.

Overarching responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the consumer, the category, and the brand’s high-level strategies

  • Leveraging this information to lead the management and monitoring of social media channels across the VUSE brand

  • Collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders to achieve results

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(* Essential Functions)

  • Employ strong project management skills and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high quality results

  • Engage with consumers on a 1:1 basis following best practices outlined by the organization

  • Act as a community manager across all social media platforms, closely monitoring and communicating with the broader brand team to ensure response consistency.

  • Identify and escalate social behavior as necessary to maintain brand health

  • Liaise with internal team and legal department to ensure content is within regulatory parameters

  • Assist with PR initiatives across social channels

  • Monitor brand competitors and trends in the industry

  • Support content creation and curation

  • Research and bring forth innovative and disruptive social media capabilities across all platforms

  • Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, industry guidelines and marketing standards

SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS

  • In-depth knowledge for brand marketing and experience identifying underlying connection to consumer values and needs

  • Solid understanding in social media and ability to stay on top of the dynamic nature of social media to ensure new opportunities for engaging with consumers are executed

  • Innate curiosity with an innovative mindset and creative thinking process

  • Results-driven and self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and coordination among cross-functional teams

  • Influence external and internal partners without direct line authority

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to influence at senior levels within the organization

  • Proactively address needs and work with colleagues at various levels of experience, across departments, and with agency representative

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND BENEFITS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required - marketing specialization is a plus

  • Graduate Degree (MBA) and/ or prior brand marketing experience in CPG category is a plus

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing impactful and engaging social media campaigns. Agency/tech industry experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of ins and outs of all relevant platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube., and whatever new platform or algorithm came out yesterday. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Spredfast experience a strong plus

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to understand, adapt and execute use of brand voice with an exceptional attention to detail

  • Content creation and graphic design experience a plus

  • Knowledge of social insights and analytics: experience tracking key performance indicators to inform a data-driven marketing strategy

  • Demonstrated experience in motivating people, strong communication/interpersonal skills, thinking/operating strategically, and sound decision-making

  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
