This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.
This position will report to and work closely with the Senior Director, Income Tax and be responsible for tax compliance and tax accounting.
Principles and Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and state income tax returns
Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and coordinate submission of payments to taxing authorities
Prepare annual reports, registrations, informational returns, and other business tax returns
Prepare state apportionment calculations
Prepare monthly tax provisions and analysis of tax accounts
Prepare quarterly analysis of deferred tax assets and liabilities
Prepare journal entries for income and franchise tax accounts
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related area
Minimum of 2 years experience in tax, accounting, or other finance roles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Desire to learn and grow professionally
Experience with tax compliance software systems (CCH ProSystem or RIA OneSource)
Experience with SAP
